The purpose of this experiment was to study regarding the correlation between the nitrogen content of the cell wall, proximate components, and fibre Van Soest components with feed protein digestibility in the rumen. The materials which used in this research are leaves of gamal, trikantera, indigofera, kaliandra, daun pepaya, daun singkong, and lamtoro. Proximate analysis is conducted to measure the content of water, ash, crude protein, crude fibre, and crude fat that contain in the sample. Van Soest analysis is conducted to measure the value of NDF (Neutral Detergent Fibre), ADF (Acid Detergent Fibre), NDICP (Neutral Detergent Insoluble Crude Protein), and ADICP (Acid Detergent Insoluble Crude Protein). In vitro analysis is conducted to measure the degradation and digestibility’s value of dry material and organic material, and also the value of crude protein digestibility, NH3 and VFA (Volatile Fatty Acid) components. The result of this research showed that cassava leaves (Manihot utilisima) has the highest level of crude protein and NDICP, the lowest level of ADICP and also high enough level of KCPK. It can be concluded that cassava leaves are the best forage in this research for ruminanten
