This research aims to analyze the effect of addition sunflower oil in the diet on the performance of young rams. This research uses a randomized block design with 3 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment in this study is the ration without the addition of sunflower seed oil (M0%), the addition of 4% ration with sunflower seed oil (M4%), and ration with the addition of 6% sunflower oil (M6%). The content total digestible nutrien (TDN) of M0%, M4% and M6% respectively for 75.84%, 79.24% and 80.94%. Variables measured were dry matter intake, nutrient intake, body weight gain and feed conversion. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and if the result showed significant different, it will be followed by contrast ortogonal. The results of this research indicate that the addition of sunflower oil to the diet was not significantly different (p>0.05) for consumption of crude protein, crude fiber, TDN, Ca and P, but significant effect (p>0.05) on dry matter intake and crude fat. The addition of sunflower seed oil by 4% (M4%) to the diet can improve dry matter and crude fat intake also showed good result on nutrient intake and body weight gain sheep.en
