Accordingly, women and men hold different important role. Women manage the food, while men manage private forests. This study uses the Harvard Framework for analyzing the division of labor, access and control of gender, and the factors that influence it. The method used was a survey on private forest farmers of Bojonggenteng Village. The results showed the level of private forests contribution, education level, income level, and tenure level has a positive effect; the household size has negative effect; division of labor, access and control gender had no effect on household food security.
