| dc.description.abstract | Shallot is a horticulture commodities that has a high economic value and a large market opportunity as a seasoning for a consumption of the household, the material for industry and to fulfill the export quota. This research analyze the factors that influence the volume of shallot import in Indonesia and formulate alternative policy strategies shallot imports in Indonesia. Multiple linear regression method showed that shallot import volume is significantly influenced by shallot import prices, exchanges rate Rupiah against U.S. Dollar and import tarif 25.
