dc.description.abstract | Hydroponic forage have a opportunity become as feed with fast growing and grow throughout the year. This research was conducted to evaluate production and nutrition quality of corn (Zea mays L.) forage from hydroponic cultivation. It used randomized block factorial design with 2 factors and 3 treatments. The first factor was seed density and the second factor was nutrient solution. Seed density were D1 (3.0 kg m-2), density D2 (3.5 kg m-2), density D3 (4.0 kg m-2) and nutrient solution factor include of nutrient solution B1 (Bioslurry 0% + commercial solution 100%), nutrient solution B2 (Bioslurry 25% + commercial solution 75%), nutrient solution B3 (Bioslurry 50% + commercial solution 50%). The result showed that treatments were not significant in nutrient content, VFA and NH3 of corn hydroponic forage, and it gave a significant result to Dry Matter in Vitro Digestibility (DMIVD) and Organic Matter in Vitro Digestibility (OMIVD). The other result showed that treatment of seed density 3.5 kg m-2 and substitution of 75% commercial solution with 25% bioslurry gave the best result for corn hydropinic forage production | en |
