Penambahan probiotik dengan dosis berbeda terhadap kinerja pertumbuhan ikan nila merah (Oreochromis niloticus)

Abstract

This research aims to test the effect of the addition of probiotics with different doses on the growth performance of Red tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). The feed used in this research is the artificial diets with protein levels of 31.75% in added probiotic commercial Power Lac® with a different dose of a feed A (0 g/kg feed), B (0,25 g/kg feed), C (0,50 g/kg feed), and D (1 g/kg feed). Fish used is juvenile red tilapia with average body weight of 13,67±0,22 g were reared in the 3x2x0,7 cm3 bath with density of 50 fish/bath. Fish were reared for 151 days and feed 3 times daily at satiation levels. The results of research showed that treatment C with the addition of probiotic 0,50 g/kg feed gives the best results compared with others in improving the growth performance of red tilapia (Oreochromis sp).
