Abstract

Partnership system is a collaboration by tobacco farmers and cigarette factory. Socialization is one of part in partnership system. The result showed that partnership system can raise the dependence of farmers on the partner. That dependence will make it difficult for farmers to access technological, financial, and market resources. Finally, the farmers choose to not partnering and make a collaboration with middleman. Currently, the farmers get easier to access tobacco production needs. In addition, the farmers also have higher bargaining position when not partnered with cigarette factory
