The objective of current study was to investigate the effect of feeding diet containing sieved or unsieved palm kernel meal on the development of the digestive organs in 35-day old broilers. Two hundreds day old chicken strain Hubbard were allocated to four dietary treatments i.e : P1 = treatment diet containing unsieved palm kernel meal; P2 = treatment diet containing sieved palm kernel meal; P3 = treatment diet containing sieved palm kernel meal plus shell of Palm Kernel Meal (PKM) as grit; P4 = treatment diet containing sieved palm kernel meal plus commercial grit in completely randomized design. Feed and water were given ad libitum. Variables measured were weight percentage of proventriculus, gizzard, small intestine, caeca, colon, relative length of small intestine, colon and caeca. The result showed that weight percentage of proventriculus, gizzard, small intestine, and colon were not affected by the treatments. Relative length of jejunum, colon, and caeca were also not affected by the treatments. It is concluded that sieving palm kernel meal did not affect weight percentage and relative length of digestive organs of broiler chicken.en
