One way to determine suitable areas for seaweed cultivation efficiently in terms of cost, time and energy is using remote sensing, however needs to be tested further cultivation. This research aimed to prove the production of seaweed Kappaphycus alvarezii cultivation process, in the suitable areas based on remote sensing at the Bay Gerupuk, West Nusa Tenggara. Seaweed cultivation was done at 3 points (A, B and C) with three repetitions. The results obtained on wet weight measurements of harvest were at point A 556,67 grams, point B 383,33 grams, point C 360 grams. SGR calculation at point A, B and C were 3,89 % ; 3,00 % and 2,86 %. Measurements result of carbohydrate content were at point A 58,07 %; point B 59,49 % and point C 64,44 %. Protein content were at point A 5,68 %; point B 7,23 % and point C 7,55%. Fat content were at point A 0,02 %; point B 0,08 % and point C 0,03 %. Measurements of water content after dried were at point A 27,34 %, point B 26,27 % and point C 26,15 %. Measurement result of a physical-chemical water parameters, overall value of each parameter was still in the proper range for the cultivation activities of seaweed Kappaphycus alvarezii.en
