| dc.description.abstract | Partnerships in plantation is a mutually beneficial relationship, mutual respect, mutual responsibility, mutually reinforcing, and interdependence among firms with planters. However, the trend of inequality and domination in partnership creates dependency either party in this case the farmers against the company. Dependency is what makes a strong control of the farmers so that farmers in decision-making independence of farming is low. The purpose of this study to analyze the pattern of partnership that exists between PG Karangsuwung with sugarcane farmers, as well as determine the level of independence of the partner farmers trying to farm and farmer's welfare.
