dc.description.abstractOrchid plant is one of the plants that has superiority of other types of flowers, such as it is has many variations and is widespread throughout the world. Production of orchids in Indonesia shows large numbers, which in 2012 contributed to the production of orchid fifth largest after chrysanthemum, tuberose, rose and jasmine. To that end, orchid commodity market can provide a bright prospect in the future. South Tangerang city is a center of orchid plant in Banten province, with one of the leading commodities in South Tangerang City is vanda orchids. The purpose of this study is to formulate alternative strategies based on the company's internal and external as well as establish the main strategies that had been applied by Parakan Jaya Farmer's Group. Based on the analysis of the matrix IE, Parakan Jaya Farmer's Group is in quadrant II, which suggests that Parakan Jaya Farmer's Group is well positioned and well grow. The SWOT analysis is done, resulting in seven alternative strategies that can be run by Farmers Group Parakan Jaya. QSPM analysis results indicate that the best strategy to be done by Parakan Jaya Farmer's Group is stepping up efforts for the promotion of business activities of Vanda orchids.en
