dc.description.abstractIndustry sector which is still surviving and pretty much developed in West Java is tapioca small-sized industry, but derivative industry prices monopolization, incontinuity of raw materials, and also less technology inductions are potensially decrease the revenue of business owner. The purpose of this study are to gain knowledge on the income and value added given by the tapioca industry, and to examine the prospect of developing tapioca industry from the input side and market opportunity. The analyses are separated into income analysis with R/C Ratio, break even point analysis, value added analysis with Hayami Method, and statistical descriptive analysis. From the study it can be conclude that the average business owners produced 100 kg of raw materials which then will produce 21.67 kg raw tapioca and 6.04 kg waste. Average R/C ratio of business owner and production factor owner is more than 1 that means this small-sized tapioca industry still gave them daily income, whereas added value ratio from the processing is just 17.09%. This tapioca processing needs more management which can increase their competitivness by upgrading raw tapioca quality and controlling raw materials continuityen
