Analisis Kelayakan Pengembangan Usaha Budidaya Buah Naga (Hylocereus sp.) di Desa Rombasan Kecamatan Pragaan Kabupaten Sumenep Jawa Timur

Abstract

Dragon fruit is a fruit which has a potential to be developed because it has a high economic value and unfullfilling demand. The fullfilling of dragon fruit needs is still an import result. One of the way to decrease an import is the development of dragon fruit cultivation. Mr. Muhlis Hidayat is a farmer who has begun cultivating dragon fruit since 2006. The increasing of demand is a market potential for farmer so that it is necessary to do business development by adding investments. The capital which is needed to develop this business is big enough so that it needs a feasibility study to determine business feasibility. The data analysis methods which is used are qualitative which used to analyze the non financial aspect feasibility and quantitative which used to analyze the financial aspect feasibility. Every business has its own risk and uncertainty so that sensitivity and switching value analysis is needed to be done to determine the feasibility limit. The research result showed that the dragon fruit cultivation of Mr. Muhlis Hidayat is feasible to be done and developed
