Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Ugadi pada Kelompok Tani Mina Bakti Desa Pasir Doton, Kec. Cidahu, Kab. Sukabumi

Abstract

Ugadi is one of the programs developed by the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries (MMAF) / Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) and BBPBAT Sukabumi in order to increase the production of shrimp and rice. Shrimp is one of fishery commodities that has a high economic value and rice is the staple food of Indonesian people. This study aims to (1) analyze the internal and external environments and (2) formulate the alternative and priority strategies for Mina Bakti farmers group. The main factors of internal and external environments were identified by IFE-EFE Matrix. The result of IFE-EFE Matrix was formulated as the alternative strategy with IE and SWOT analysis. At the final stage, the priority strategy was determined by QSPM analysis. The first priority strategy that is recommended to be implemented by Mina Bakti farmers group is to expand the land for ugadi in the rice field owned by members of Mina Bakti farmers group and collaborate with the leader group in order to provide capital for feed and shrimp fry.
