Motivasi dan Perilaku Menonton Program Acara Merajut Asa Trans7 pada Petani Desa Citapen, Kabupaten Bogor

Abstract

This study aimed to asses the correlation between demographic characteristics with viewing motivation, the correlation between social groups affiliation with viewing motivation, the correlation between personality type with viewing motivation, and the correlation between viewing motivation with viewing behavior of watching Merajut Asa Trans7 program. The research sample was farm worker in RW 05 Citapen Village who had seen the program. The results of the study explain that gender associated with integration and social interaction motivation and additional work associated with personal identity motivation. Age, level of education, income levels, family’s size, and the type of personality was not associated with viewing motivation. The level of social group affiliation associated only with information motivation and personal identity motivation, while viewing motivation was not related with viewing behavior of Merajut Asa Trans7 program.
