dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to analyze the economic behavior of tuna fisher in fisheries industrialization. The study also aimed to examine the relationship among characteristics of respondents, fisher’s business, and external’s intervention to fisher’s economic behavior. The research used the quantitative method with qualitative method support. Overall, the economic behavior of fishers in Tambakrejo Village was quite good, such as the ability to maintain quality of the catch, the use of modern technology, the build of social relationship, and ability to employ the family members. In the test between individual characteristic and economic behavior, the most significant relationship is shown by number of family member variable. This means that the more the number of family member in fisher’s family, the economic behavior will be higher. Thus, the most significant relationship between intervention and economic behavior is capital support variable. This means that higher capital support given by external, the economic behavior will be higher. The final showed that the most significant relationship of fisher’s business characteristic is shown by business capital variable. This means that the more number of business capital will make the economic behavior getting higher.en
