Perencanaan pengembangan peternakan sapi potong di Distrik Kebar Papua Barat menggunakan peta arahan penggunaan lahan

Abstract

Districk Kebar is an area in Papua Barat. Districk Kebar has land use map that can used for made a plann to developed livestock. The land use map made by Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Tanah dan Agroklimat. The map used as reference. The results of calculation showed that Districk Kebar can carrying 72.987 Animal Unit (AU). Metode was used in this research was based on potential productions of plants and potential carrying capacity of calf. Material of research used were landset map and microsoft excel. In this place can be developed livestock. The result showed that potential production of plants in Kebar can provided forage for CCO are 60.712 AU, VBC are 3.683 AU, and VFC are 8.593 AU.
