| dc.description.abstract | The highly increase of crop production in the future will be a compulsion and utilization of field will be more intensive. Therefore, precise pescription of crop fertilization is required. Site Specific Nutrient Management (SSNM) application is an innovation of technology for rice farming through fertilization recommendation which accurate in type, dose and time of fertilization to increase rice production and farmer incomes. SSNM application was developed by IRRI (International Rice Research Institute) in Philippines. The aim of this research is to get illustration about analysis of farmers on new technologies SSNM application of web-based technology. Comparing farm income and productivity of rice farmers using the technology by not using technology SSNM. Identifying factors that influence farmers to adopt SSNM applications. There was a significant differences in fertilization cost between the usage of SSNM and manually applied fertilization. In manually applied fertilization costs Rp 320,065 or about 20.62 percent of total cost, while in SSNM fertilization costs only12.93 percent of total cost or Rp 23,078. The application of SSNM was able to increase average rice production about 314.38 kg / hectare and farmers income raised to Rp 1,100,328 / hectare. There is a driving factor for farmers to use the SSNM application including increased production, the facilities, the capital, the efficient use of fertilizer and maintain the field quality.Farm rice incomes and field ownership have positive relationship toward farmer to adoption SSNM application. | en |
