Pemanfaatan bioflok dengan ukuran yang berbeda oleh udang vaname, ikan nila, dan kerang hijau dengan isotop 15N sebagai penanda
Abstract
Aplication of stable isotope like 15N in tracing nitrogen flow in food chain has been widely used. The study aims to evaluate the influence of biofloc size to the biofloc utilization in white shrimp, tilapia, and green mussel with isotope 15N tracing. The biofloc size used in this experiment were unshieved floc, >100 μm, 48-100 μm, and <48 μm. The accumulation of 15N in biota is a parameter indicates the amount of biofloc uptake by biota. The result of stable isotope 15N analyses and total N in biota showed white shrimp, tilapia, and green mussel utilize more nitrogen from biofloc in floc size >100 μm.
