      Abstract
      fowl feed-stuffs can be used to form ul ate diet for arab chicken native chicken. The utilizati on of a feed ingredient should consider some factors such as the quantity available, nutrient com positions, price and limiting factors such as anti-nutrient or toxins that exist in the feed ingredient. Some potential local feed ingredients that can be used for native chickens are rice bran, coconut meal, cpo, pollard and katuk leaf meal. The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence high crude fiber in the ration on performance of native chicken and arab chicken as feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion and cholesterol meat. Animal experiments with a total of eighteen native chicken and eighteen arab chicken 10 weeks of age respectively - each nine rooster and nine hens and four heads were given commercial feed as a comparison of chicken, using 4 threatments with 3 replicates, system maintenance battery cages and maintained until the 14th week. Treatment diet were formulated based on the level of use katuk leaf meal. The results showed that the provision of katuk leaf meal the arab male and female chickens better performance than the male and female native chicken on feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion. Meat cholesterol shows arab chicken had lower cholesterol than native chicken.
