      Abstract
      On the transport of fry, density is a limiting factor so as to minimize mortality during transport is necessary to reduce the density of the fry. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the addition of zeolite 20 grams/liter, 10 grams/liter of activated carbon, and salt 4 ppt in fish transport Maanvish M size (standard length = 2-3 cm) with a density of 40 fish/liter. The study began by measuring water quality at the source of water transportation, satisfactory pre-packed fish, and measure the quality of water after being used as a medium of transport of Maanvis fry to Bali and calculate its magnitude. The results of this study showed that after transport of seeds for 37 hours, declining water quality and density of the SR with 40 fish / L using zeolite treated 20 grams / L, the activated carbon 10 g / L, and 4 ppt salt is 37.5% while the SR the control was 47.1%.
       
      Pada transportasi benih ikan, kepadatan merupakan faktor pembatasnya sehingga untuk meminimalisir kematian saat transportasi benih perlu dilakukan pengurangan kepadatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari penambahan zeolit 20 gram/liter, karbon aktif 10 gram/liter, dan garam 4 ppt pada kemasan transportasi ikan Maanvish ukuran M (Panjang baku = 2-3 cm) dengan kepadatan 40 ekor/liter. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan mengukur kualitas air pada sumber air transportasi, memuasakan ikan sebelum dikemas, dan mengukur kualitas air setelah digunakan sebagai media transportasi benih ikan Maanvis ke Bali serta menghitung SR nya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan transportasi benih selama 37 jam, kualitas air menurun dan SR dengan kepadatan 40 ekor/L menggunakan perlakuan zeolit 20 gram/L, karbon aktif 10 gram/L, serta garam 4 ppt adalah 37,5% sedangkan SR pada kontrol adalah 47,1%.
