dc.description.abstract | This study was conducted to investigate the effect of feed additive "SIGI INDAH" on broiler's performance, economical value and to get suitable level of the addition of "SIGI INDAH". The experiment was conducted in Completely Randomized Design using 840 day old chicks (DOC) Cobb 500 strain. Seven levels of "SIGI INDAH (0%, 0.25%, 0.50%, 0.75%, 1.00%, 1.25% and 1.50%) were added to drinking water of broiler as the treatments. Each treatment had 4 replication with 30 broilers. Growth performance (feed intake, BW gain, FCR and mortality) were obtained through 35 days. Cumulative feed intake at day 35 was improved (P< 0.05) in broilers given 0.50%,,0.75%, 1.00%, 1.25% and 1.50% compared with that of 0%. BW gain, FCR and water consumption were no significant difference among treatment. Mortality was higher for broiler consuming 0.50% compared to the other treatments. The average of IOFCC for broiler received "SIGI INDAH" (Rp 2,458.60) lower than those for 0% (Ru 3,320.95). In conclusion, feed additive "SIGI INDAW did not improve broiler's performance and give profit. Key words : broiler, feed additive, performance, ZOFCC | en |
