| dc.description.abstract | The objectives of the experiments were to compare the physio anatomy of gastro intestinal tracts between local goats and local sheep. The experiments were conducted held from March to July 2005. The experiments used ten goats (5 males and 5 females) and ten sheep (5 males and 5 females). The experimental design used was Randomized block design with factorial (2x2). Significant differences among treatments futher tested with Duncant test. The results showed that relative volume of total stomach and weights of stomach tissue to empty body weight were not significantly differences, retekulo-rumen, omasurn and abomasum volume had significantly differences, weights of tissue retikulo-nunen, omasum and abomasum to empty body weight were not significantly differences for species and sexs., Relative of abomasum volume was large significantly (P<0.05) in male goat, Small intestine length to bone length, retention time was large significantly (Pi0.05) in sheep more than goat. | en |
