Trichantera gigantea is a broad leaf forage, whic11 has high protein content but still very rarely cultivated in Indonesia. A suitable propagation technique to develop this plant using by Indol Butiric Acid and mycorrhyzal inoculation is considered to improve succesfullness of plant development. The experiment was conducted to investigate methods of Trichantera gigantea propagation. Complete randomized design was used as an experimental design with 0; 50, 150, 300, 500 ppm and without and with mycorrhyza. Data were analyzed by using ANOVA and Least Significant Different. The result showed that the plant without Indol Butiric combined with mycorrhyza resulted in the highest @<0.05) buds number and root dry weight. 'Xhile mycorhyza it self improved significantly (p10.01) buds number and dry weight of root. Interaction between IBA and mycorhyza significantly (p<O.05) influenced dry weight of biomass and root infection percentage Keywords : Techniques of vegetative propagation, Trichantera gigantea, IBA, mycorhyzaen
