The experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of silage of commercial diet on feed consumption, feed conversion, body weight gain and frnal body weight of broiler. The experiment was conducted in Completely Randomized Design using 120 day old chicks (DOC) Cobb 500 strain. The animals were divided into 15 group and assigned randomly to one of three dietary treatments, namely: RO (commercial diet as control), R1 (50% silage of commercial diet + 500/0 control ration) and R2 (1W/o silage of commercial diet). The results showed that dietary treabnents significantly (PQ),Ol) influenced feed consumption and feed conversion, but the treatments did not significantly influence body weight gain and final body weight Feed consumption and feed conversion of broiler fed 50% silage was significantly higher compared with that of control. Feed consumption of broiler fed 1 W? silage was significantly lower compared with that of control, but the diet compared with control produced similar feed conversion. It was concluded that silage could be used up to 108% for broiler ration without negative effect on broiler's performance. Keywords : silage commercial diet, performance, broileren
