dc.description.abstractThe aim of this experiment was to study the substitution of rice bran with restaurant waste in the broiler diets. One hundred and twenty day old chicks (DOCs) strain Cobb were used. They were divided into Completely Randomized Design consisted of 3 treatments and 4 replicates, each consisted of 10 broilers. They were kept in animal house with litter system. The treatments were:1) the diet contained 13% rice bran, without restaurant waste (P1), 2) the diet contained 6.2% rice bran and 6.2% restaurant waste (P2), 3) the diet without rice bran, but contained 12% restaurant waste (P3). The results showed that the treatments significantly (P<0.01) affected feed intake, body weight gain, final body weight, and water intake but did not affect to feed conversion. It was concluded that the restaurant waste could be used until the level of 12% in the diet, but the best result obtained at the level of 6.2% of restaurant waste.en
