dc.description.abstractOne of the agri-fishery commodities in Indonesia, which is currently highly profitable and is a commodity shrimp. The development of shrimp consumption on the international level and national level is considered by many farmers and fishermen market potential. This is then used as an excuse to encourage improvement and development efforts on commodity shrimp. One of the business actors in the field of fisheries, especially for agribusiness commodities vaname shrimp is shrimp supply chain members vaname. Members vaname shrimp supply chain consists of four principal business consists of vaname shrimp producers, smallholders shrimp pond Pandu vaname Karawang, distributors, supermarkets and Makro. Vaname shrimp supply chain has a few problems in activities that affect the ability to generate profits. The problem is not yet well-organized supply chain between both functions in the supply chain members, starting from the seed producer to the consumer end of the causes of this supply chain is not going so well that affect each of the chain actors. Supply chain or supply chain is a distributed system where the organization of production of goods and services to its customers. This chain is also a network of various organizations are interconnected and have the same goal, ie holding the best possible procurement or distribution of goods. The purpose of this study is to identify the shrimp supply chain in the pond ECE vaname Karawang, formulate alternative strategies to improve supply chain performance of long-term vaname shrimp, formulate alternative strategies based on the best strategy was chosen for vaname shrimp supply chain. Research methods used in this research is descriptive analysis using the framework of supply chain management analysis that has been modified by Vorst. after a descriptive analysis of the shrimp supply chain vaname the next step is to make the strategy formulation stage. formulation of the strategy formulation process consists daritahap input (input), phase matching, and decision stage.Analysis of strategy formulation used in this study is the analysis of internal and external environment (IFE and EFE), SWOT analysis and the analysis QSPM.id
