An experiment was planed to know the male rabbits weaning of response which given root tubers as source alternative energy in ration kind of pellet. Twenty male rabbits of weaning had a mean of live weight 271 ± 32 g which old age 4-5 week. Exploiting and information about usage of root tubers as energy resources still very limited. While rabbit livestock. specia11y weaning rabbit at a periode of growed needed more energy resources compared to adult rabbit, so in this research tried some energy resources of root tubers, such as sweet potatoes, cassava and tannia in rabbit ration. An experimental method was used Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatment and 5 replication. Treatment given kind of pellet with source of different energy that is RI: energy resources of maize; R2: energy resources of sweet potatoes; R3: energy resources of cassava; R4: energy resources of tannia. The results are analyzed with ANOVA and Duncant Test to know difference between treatment (Steel and Tonie, 1993). The observed parameters were feed conswnptio~ water consumptio~ daily weight gai~ feed efficiency, mortality and economic value. The results showed that the treatment were significant ( P<O.05) on dry mater intake. but not significant on water consumptio~ daily weigth gain, feed efficiency and feed convercy. It was concluded that usage of sweet potatoes, cassava and tannia as energy resources at level 300/0 can used t!J feed alternative for rabbits because are given a good response and economic value. Key words: rabbit, pellet, root tubers, energyid
