| dc.description.abstract | Along with the escalation of technology, the plant multiplication technique had progressed extremely in order to obtain superior seed with firm quality root as well as delicious fruit taste. The plant multiplication without using seed directly can be done through vegetative multiplication technique. The vegetative multiplication such as cutting and tissue culture on melon plant had previously attempted but not yet bestowed satisfying result. Developing countries with area shortage nowadays were attempting to apply the new technique called grafting. which was a method of using a root system better adapted to soil or climate than that produced naturally by an un-grafted plant. | id |
