      Induksi Pematangan Gonad Pada Ikan Lele Sangkuriang (Clarias gariepinus) Betina dengan Plasma Darah Sapi Betina

      Abstract
      Ketersediaan induk ikan lele Sangkuriang (Clarias gariepinus) betina yang telah matang gonad merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam keberhasilan pembenihan. Plasma darah sapi betina yang berasal dari limbah rumah potong hewan (RPH) mengandung berbagai komponen bioaktif yang berpotensi mendukung proses pematangan gonad. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh pemberian plasma darah sapi betina terhadap pematangan gonad dan parameter hematologi ikan lele Sangkuriang betina. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas empat perlakuan, yaitu P0 (NaCl fisiologis 0,9%), P1 (plasma darah sapi betina dosis 0,5 mL kg?¹ bobot tubuh), P2 (1,0 mL kg?¹ bobot tubuh), dan P3 (1,5 mL kg?¹ bobot tubuh), dengan empat ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi pertambahan bobot mutlak, indeks gonadosomatik (GSI), indeks hepatosomatik (HSI), fekunditas, diameter telur, eritrosit, leukosit, hemoglobin, dan hematokrit. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan pada taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian plasma darah sapi betina berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap nilai GSI, fekunditas, serta kadar hemoglobin pada H7 dan H14 dan H28 tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap pertambahan bobot mutlak, HSI, diameter telur, jumlah eritrosit, jumlah leukosit, dan nilai hematokrit. Perlakuan P3 (1,5 mL kg?¹ bobot tubuh) merupakan dosis terbaik dalam meningkatkan pematangan gonad ikan lele Sangkuriang betina, yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai GSI dan fekunditas tertinggi. Selain itu, pemberian plasma darah sapi betina hingga dosis 1,5 mL kg?¹ bobot tubuh tidak memberikan dampak negatif terhadap parameter hematologi yang diamati. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa plasma darah sapi betina berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai alternatif bahan alami untuk mendukung pematangan gonad induk ikan lele Sangkuriang betina.
       
      The availability of sexually mature female Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) broodstock is an important factor in the success of seed production. Bovine blood plasma, a by-product of slaughterhouses, contains various bioactive components that have the potential to support gonadal maturation. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of bovine blood plasma administration on gonadal maturation and hematological parameters of female Sangkuriang catfish. A completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of four treatments was used: P0 (0.9% physiological saline), P1 (0.5 mL kg?¹ body weight bovine blood plasma), P2 (1.0 mL kg?¹ body weight bovine blood plasma), and P3 (1.5 mL kg?¹ body weight bovine blood plasma), each with four replicates. The observed parameters included absolute weight gain, gonadosomatic index (GSI), hepatosomatic index (HSI), fecundity, egg diameter, erythrocyte count, leukocyte count, hemoglobin concentration, and hematocrit value. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan's multiple range test at a 5% significance level. The results showed that bovine blood plasma administration significantly affected (P<0.05) the GSI, fecundity, and hemoglobin concentration on days 7, 14 and 21 but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on absolute weight gain, HSI, egg diameter, erythrocyte count, leukocyte count, or hematocrit value. Treatment P3 (1.5 mL kg?¹ body weight) was the optimal dose for enhancing gonadal maturation, as indicated by the highest GSI and fecundity values. Furthermore, bovine blood plasma administration up to 1.5 mL kg?¹ body weight did not adversely affect the hematological parameters evaluated. These findings suggest that bovine blood plasma has the potential to serve as a natural alternative for enhancing gonadal maturation in female Sangkuriang catfish broodstock.
