      Penerapan Generator Fine Bubble untuk Oksigenasi Larutan Nutrisi pada Budidaya Pakcoy Sistem Hidroponik Substrat

      Abstract
      Ketersediaan oksigen terlarut (dissolved oxygen/DO) pada zona perakaran merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang memengaruhi respirasi akar, penyerapan unsur hara, dan pertumbuhan tanaman pada sistem hidroponik berbasis substrat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh aplikasi penerapan Fine Bubbles Water (FBW) dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi kadar oksigen terlarut (DO) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil panen yang dibudidayakan menggunakan sistem hidroponik substrat dengan irigasi tetes. Penelitian membandingkan dua perlakuan, yaitu AB Mix tanpa FBW dan AB Mix yang dikombinasikan dengan FBW. FBW diaplikasikan selama 30 menit pada larutan nutrisi. Parameter yang diamati meliputi konsentrasi oksigen terlarut, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter tajuk, luas daun, warna daun, panjang akar, bobot akar, dan bobot segar tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian FBW cenderung meningkatkan konsentrasi oksigen terlarut pada larutan nutrisi, dengan nilai berkisar antara 7,8–9,4 mg/L dibandingkan dengan AB Mix tanpa FBW. Peningkatan konsentrasi DO tersebut disertai dengan kecenderungan pertumbuhan vegetatif yang lebih baik pada tanaman dengan perlakuan AB Mix + FBW. Perlakuan FBW menghasilkan tinggi tanaman akhir sebesar 20,57 cm, jumlah daun 19,22 helai, dan diameter tajuk 33,53 cm, sedangkan perlakuan AB Mix tanpa FBW masing-masing menghasilkan 17,01 cm, 16,56 helai, dan 30,64 cm. Pemberian FBW juga cenderung meningkatkan perkembangan akar, yang ditunjukkan oleh panjang akar sebesar 34,67 cm dibandingkan 24,93 cm pada perlakuan AB Mix tanpa FBW. Bobot segar total dan bobot segar ekonomis pada perlakuan FBW masing-masing mencapai 174 g dan 119,2 g, sedangkan pada perlakuan AB Mix tanpa FBW masing-masing sebesar 130 g dan 88,2 g. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan FBW menunjukkan kecenderungan meningkatkan ketersediaan oksigen terlarut serta mendukung pertumbuhan vegetatif, perkembangan akar, dan akumulasi biomassa tanaman pakcoy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FBW berpotensi digunakan sebagai pendekatan untuk meningkatkan ketersediaan oksigen pada larutan nutrisi dalam budidaya hidroponik berbasis substrat. Namun, hasil penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan eksploratif karena ulangan percobaan dilakukan pada tingkat drum, sedangkan tanaman dalam satu drum tidak merupakan unit percobaan yang independen.
       
      Dissolved oxygen (DO) availability in the root zone is an important factor influencing root respiration, nutrient uptake, and plant growth in substrate hydroponic systems. This study aims to examine the effect of applying Fine Bubbles Water (FBW) to increase dissolved oxygen (DO) levels on the growth and yield of crops cultivated using a substrate-based hydroponic system with drip irrigation. The experiment compared two treatments, namely AB Mix without FBW and AB Mix combined with FBW. Fine Bubble Water was applied for 30 minutes to the nutrient solution. The observed parameters included dissolved oxygen concentration, plant height, number of leaves, canopy diameter, leaf area, leaf color, root length, root biomass, and fresh weight. The results showed that FBW tended to increase dissolved oxygen concentration in the nutrient solution, with values ranging from 7.8–9.4 mg/L, compared with AB Mix without FBW. The increased DO concentration was accompanied by a tendency toward better vegetative growth in plants treated with AB Mix + FBW. The FBW treatment produced a final plant height of 20.57 cm, 19.22 leaves, and a canopy diameter of 33.53 cm, compared with 17.01 cm, 16.56 leaves, and 30.64 cm, respectively, under AB Mix without FBW. FBW also tended to improve root development, as indicated by a root length of 34.67 cm compared with 24.93 cm under AB Mix without FBW. Fresh total weight and economic fresh weight reached 174 g and 119.2 g, respectively, under FBW, compared with 130 g and 88.2 g under AB Mix without FBW. Overall, the application of FBW tended to increase dissolved oxygen availability and support vegetative growth, root development, and biomass accumulation of pakcoy. These findings indicate the potential of FBW as an approach to improve oxygen availability in the nutrient solution for substrate hydroponic cultivation. However, the results are descriptive and exploratory because the experimental replication was conducted at the drum level, while plants within the same drum were not independent experimental units.
