dc.description.abstractTransportasi adalah kegiatan yang dapat menimbulkan stres pada ikan. Salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi stres adalah penggunaan bahan anestesi alami seperti cacahan batang pisang yang mengandung senyawa aktif flavonoid,saponin, tanin, dan alkaloid. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penambahan cacahan batang pisang pada transportasi sistem tertutup benih ikan nila terhadap kualitas air, glukosa darah, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, dan pertumbuhan pascatransportasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari kontrol (K), penambahan cacahan sebanyak 2,3 g L-1 (P1), dan 11,5 g L-1 (P2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan P1 memiliki kadar glukosa darah setelah transportasi (96,67±1,53 mg dL?¹) lebih rendah dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Pemeliharaan dilakukan selama 30 hari. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup tertinggi P1 sebesar 93,33%, dan laju pertumbuhan spesifik tertinggi terdapat pada P1 sebesar 2,25%/hari.
dc.description.abstractTransportation is one of the activities that can induce stress in fish. One approach to reducing stress is the use of natural anesthetic agents, such as chopped banana pseudostem which contains bioactive compounds including flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and alkaloids. This study aimed to analyze the effect of adding chopped banana pseudostem to the closed-system transportation of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fingerlings on water quality, blood glucose levels, survival rate, and post-transport growth performance. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments and three replications. The treatments consist of a control (K), the addition of 2,3 g L-1 of chopped material (P1), and 11,5 g L-1 (P2). The results showed that treatment P1 had a lower blood glucose level after transportation (96,67 ± 1,53 mg dL?¹) compared with the other treatments. The fish were subsequently reared for 30 days. The highest survival rate was observed in P1 at 93,33%, while the highest specific growth rate was also observed in P1 at 2,25% day?¹.
