Perlakuan C menunjukkan kinerja yang mendekati perlakuan A, sedangkan perlakuan M menghasilkan kinerja terendah.
This study aimed to evaluate the effects of different natural feeds on the production performance and economic feasibility of Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) nursery culture under low-salinity conditions. The experiment was conducted for 21 days using a completely randomized design with three treatments: Artemia sp. plus commercial feed (A), Moina sp. plus commercial feed (M), and a combination of 50% Artemia sp. and 50% Moina sp. plus commercial feed (C), each with five replicates. The observed parameters included production performance, water quality, and economic analysis. The results showed that different natural feeds significantly affected (P<0,05) production performance and economic feasibility. Treatment A produced the highest survival rate (95,56 ± 2,16%), the lowest feed conversion ratio (1.33 ± 0.15), the highest productivity (66.89 ± 1.51 individuals L?¹ year?¹), and the highest profit (IDR 662,092) with a revenue-cost ratio (R/C) of 1,09. Treatment C showed production performance and economic feasibility comparable to Treatment A, whereas Treatment M resulted in the lowest performance for most parameters. Therefore, Artemia sp. was the most effective natural feed for improving production performance and economic feasibility in the nursery culture of Pacific white shrimp under low-salinity conditions.
