      Abstract
      Transportasi sistem tertutup pada ikan platy (Xiphophorus maculatus) berpotensi menimbulkan stres dan meningkatkan risiko kematian sehingga dapat menurunkan kualitas dan nilai ekonomis ikan. Ekstrak daun bandotan (Ageratum conyzoides) diduga memiliki senyawa bioaktif yang berpotensi menekan stres ikan selama pengangkutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penambahan ekstrak daun bandotan terhadap kualitas air, respons stres, dan parameter produksi ikan platy pada transportasi sistem tertutup. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan tiga perlakuan, yaitu tanpa ekstrak, ekstrak 0,25 ml L-1 , dan ekstrak 0,5 ml L-1, masing-masing tiga ulangan. Transportasi dilakukan selama 48 jam, kemudian ikan dipelihara selama 14 hari pascatransportasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ekstrak daun bandotan dosis 0,25 ml L-1memberikan hasil terbaik dalam menekan stres, menjaga kualitas air, dan mempertahankan kelangsungan hidup ikan, dengan tingkat kelangsungan hidup mencapai 99%. Dengan demikian, ekstrak daun bandotan pada dosis tersebut berpotensi digunakan sebagai bahan tambahan alami dalam transportasi ikan platy sistem tertutup
       
      Closed system transportation of platy fish (Xiphophorus maculatus) has the potential to induce stress and increase mortality risk, thereby reducing fish quality and economic value. Bandotan leaf extract (Ageratum conyzoides) is suspected to contain bioactive compounds that may help reduce fish stress during transportation. This study aimed to analyze the effects of adding Bandotan leaf extract on water quality, stress responses, and production parameters of platy fish during closed-system transportation. A completely randomized design was applied with three treatments: no extract (control), 0.25 ml L-1 extract, and 0.5 ml L-1 extract, each with three replicates. Transportation was conducted for 48 hours, followed by a 14-day post-transport rearing period. The results showed that the addition of Bandotan leaf extract at a dose of 0.25 ml L-1 provided the best outcomes in reducing stress, maintaining water quality, and sustaining fish survival, with a survival rate of 99%.
