      Optimasi Tekno-Ekonomi Sistem Hibrida PV-Baterai-Diesel-PLN untuk Fasilitas Penggilingan Padi di Pedesaan

      Abstract
      Pemanfaatan sistem fotovoltaik berpotensi besar menekan biaya operasional industri penggilingan padi, namun intermitensi radiasi matahari harian tinggi di Bogor menuntut sistem terbarukan yang andal. Penelitian berbasis simulasi ini bertujuan merancang konfigurasi hibrida berbasis fotovoltaik, baterai, generator diesel, dan jaringan listrik PLN yang paling ekonomis serta andal. Pemodelan dilakukan menggunakan HOMER Pro dan memanfaatkan data sekunder literatur untuk mengevaluasi karakteristik beban penggilingan padi berkapasitas 5 ton beras/hari (228 kWh/hari, 289 hari/tahun), mengoptimalkan sudut kemiringan dan orientasi panel surya, serta menganalisis keandalan sistem energi hibrida. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan panel surya dengan sudut kemiringan 25° dan orientasi ganda Timur–Barat menghasilkan produksi energi tahunan yang lebih andal. Dari 20 skenario simulasi, skenario hibrida interkoneksi jaringan listrik PLN dengan kapasitas fotovoltaik 71,02 kWp dan baterai 25 kWh menjadi konfigurasi paling optimum. Temuan baru penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa konfigurasi tersebut menghasilkan biaya energi produksi sangat ekonomis sebesar Rp41/kg beras. Seluruh skenario terbukti menjaga kontinuitas suplai daya di berbagai kondisi cuaca. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi fotovoltaik dengan baterai dan jaringan listrik PLN dapat meningkatkan efisiensi biaya operasional penggilingan padi pada wilayah dengan variabilitas cuaca tinggi.
       
      The application of photovoltaic systems offered significant potential to reduce operational costs in the rice milling industry; however, high daily solar radiation intermittency in Bogor demanded a reliable system. This simulation-based study aimed to design an economical and reliable hybrid configuration incorporating photovoltaics, batteries, a diesel generator, and the PLN grid. Modeling via HOMER Pro utilized secondary literature data to evaluate a 5-ton/day rice mill load (228 kWh/day, 289 days/year), optimize panel orientation, and evaluate the reliability of hybrid energy systems. Results indicated that a 25° tilt angle with dual East–West orientation yielded the most reliable annual energy output. Among 20 simulated scenarios, a grid-connected hybrid system with a 71.02 kWp photovoltaic capacity and a 25 kWh battery proved optimal. A key finding revealed that the configuration achieved an economical production energy cost of IDR 41/kg of processed rice. All scenarios ensured continuous power supply across varied weather conditions. The findings of this study suggested that integrating photovoltaic systems with batteries and the PLN grid could improve the operational cost efficiency of rice mills in regions with high weather variability.
