Kredit menjadi solusi likuiditas atas keterbatasan modal usahaternak sapi perah rakyat. Credit serves as a liquidity solution for capital constraints in smallholder dairy cattle farming. This study aims to analyze the determinants of credit amount and profit differences between credit user and non-credit user farmers in the Los Cimaung Group. Data from 58 samples, selected through cluster sampling, were analyzed using Tobit regression and independent sample t-tests. The Tobit regression results showed that barn area had a significant positive effect, while the number of family dependents and labor had a significant negative effect on the credit amount. The gender variable had no statistically significant effect. Furthermore, the independent sample t-test proved that there were no significant differences in the components of cash receipts, total costs, cash profits, and total profits per lactating cow per month between the two farmer groups. The cash profit of credit users at IDR 488,319 and non-credit users at IDR 461,757 was proven not to differ significantly. Credit in the research area purely functions as an operational safety net to maintain standard feed intake, rather than as leverage for profit.
