This study evaluated the effectiveness of granular organic fertilizer enriched with mycorrhiza and lamtoro on the nutrient quality and in vitro digestibility of second-ratoon Sorghum bicolor var. Samurai 1, and aimed to determine the optimal treatment combination for fermentation profile and feed digestibility. Nutrient content and nutrient production were analyzed using a factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of two factors: Factor B represented the fertilizer type (organic fertilizer (G), organic fertilizer + mycorrhiza (GM), and organic fertilizer + lamtoro + mycorrhiza (GLM)) and fertilizer dose (2, 3, and 4 t ha?¹) each with four replications. Fermentability and digestibility were analyzed using a Completely Randomized Design with two treatments (GM4 and GLM2) with three replications and were analyzed using the T test. The results showed a highly significant interaction (p<0.01) between fertilizer type and dose on dry matter and fiber fraction. The single factors of fertilizer type and dose also had highly significant effects (p<0.01) on crude protein, ether extract, and ash. Ruminal pH and NH3 differed significantly (p<0.01), whereas total volatile fatty acid concentration did not significantly different (p>0.05); dry matter digestibility (DMD) and organic matter digestibility (OMD) did not significantly different among treatments. Conclusion, the GLM treatment at a dose of 2 tons ha-1 effectively increased the dry matter and fiber fractions. The combination of GM4 and GLM2 effectively increased rumen pH and NH3 concentration. | |
