Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is one of the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), yet the Universal Health Coverage Service Coverage Index (UHC SCI) in ASEAN countries still shows disparities. This study aims to analyze the development of the UHC SCI and monetary policy indicators, as well as the impact of monetary policy on the UHC SCI in eight ASEAN countries during the period 2000-2023. The study employs descriptive analysis and panel data regression using two models. The results show that the money supply has a positive and significant effect in the model without control variables, but becomes insignificant after control variables are included. Inflation and government health expenditure have no significant effect, while GDP per capita has a positive and significant effect on the UHC SCI. Coordination of monetary and fiscal policies is necessary to maintain macroeconomic stability, promote economic growth, and strengthen health sector financing to support the achievement of UHC SCI in ASEAN countries.
