      KAJIAN APLIKASI JENIS DAN DOSIS PROBIOTIK UNTUK EFEKTIVITAS PERTUMBUHAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus.) DALAM SISTEM BIOFLOK

      Abstract
      Ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) merupakan komoditas budidaya air tawar unggulan di Indonesia, namun sistem budidaya intensif berisiko menurunkan kualitas air, mengganggu mikrobiota usus, serta performa pertumbuhan ikan. Probiotik dalam sistem bioflok menjadi pendekatan menjanjikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh jenis bakteri probiotik dan variasi dosis terhadap kinerja pertumbuhan ikan nila dalam sistem bioflok melalui studi literatur deskriptif-komparatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Bacillus sp. menghasilkan kinerja pertumbuhan tertinggi dengan laju pertumbuhan spesifik 2,98%/hari dan rasio konversi pakan 1,35 pada dosis 5×107 CFU/g pakan serta tingkat kelangsungan hidup mencapai 96,7%, sedangkan Lactobacillus sp. berperan dominan dalam modulasi mikrobiota usus dan stimulasi imunitas non-spesifik. Dosis optimal berada pada kisaran 107–108 CFU/g pakan, dengan dosis di bawah 106 CFU/g tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata dan di atas 10¹° CFU/g bersifat kontraproduktif. Disimpulkan bahwa Bacillus sp. dosis 5×107 CFU/g pakan merupakan perlakuan paling efektif, sementara pemilihan jenis dan dosis probiotik harus disesuaikan dengan metode aplikasi dan kondisi sistem budidaya.
       
      Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is a leading freshwater aquaculture commodity in Indonesia; however, intensive farming risks deteriorating water quality, disrupting gut microbiota, and reducing growth performance. Probiotics in biofloc systems offer a promising approach to address these challenges. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of different probiotic types and dosage variations on Nile tilapia growth in biofloc systems using a descriptive-comparative literature review. Results indicate that Bacillus sp. produced the highest growth performance with a Specific Growth Rate of 2.98%/day, Feed Conversion Ratio of 1.35, and survival rate of 96.7% at 5×107 CFU/g feed, while Lactobacillus sp. dominated gut microbiota modulation and non-specific immunity stimulation. The optimal dosage ranged from 107 to 108 CFU/g feed; dosages below 106 CFU/g showed no significant effect and above 10¹° CFU/g were counterproductive. It is concluded that Bacillus sp. at 5×107 CFU/g feed is the most effective treatment for enhancing Nile tilapia growth in a biofloc system, and probiotic selection should consider application method and system conditions.
