Pemberian Pakan Mengandung Corn Steep Liquor Terhadap Bobot Organ Imunitas dan Histopatologi Usus Ayam Broiler

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pemberian pakan mengandung corn steep liquor dengan dosis yang berbeda terhadap bobot organ imunitas dan kondisi histopatologi usus halus ayam broiler. Penelitian ini menggunakan 160 ekor ayam broiler strain Cobb 500. Peubah yang diamati meliputi bobot organ imunitas dan histopatologi usus ayam broiler. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari P0= pakan tanpa corn steep liquor (kontrol), P1= pakan mengandung 5% corn steep liquor, P2= pakan mengandung 10% corn steep liquor, P3= pakan mengandung 15% corn steep liquor. Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA, apabila hasil berbeda nyata (P<0,05) akan diuji lanjut menggunakan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan mengandung corn steep liquor pada ayam broiler berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) dan nyata (P<0,05) terhadap bobot organ imunitas bursa fabrisius dan timus, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot organ limpa. Pemberian pakan corn steep liquor pada ayam broiler berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap tinggi vili, sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kedalaman kripta usus dan rasio vili terhadap kripta ayam broiler. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pemberian pakan mengandung corn steep liquor dengan dosis 5% terbaik untuk bobot relatif organ imunitas dan dosis 15% terbaik untuk kondisi histopatologi usus ayam broiler.

This study aimed to analyze the effect of feeding diets containing corn steep liquor at different doses on the weight of immune organs and the histopathological condition of the small intestine in broiler chickens. The study used 160 Cobb 500 strain broiler chickens. The variables observed included the weight of immune organs and the histopathology of the broiler chickens’ small intestines. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replicates. The treatments consisted of P0 = feed without corn steep liquor (control), P1 = feed containing 5% corn steep liquor, P2 = feed containing 10% corn steep liquor, and P3 = feed containing 15% corn steep liquor. Data analysis was performed using ANOVA, when results differed significantly (P<0.05), they were further tested using Duncan’s multiple range test. The results showed that feeding broiler chickens a diet containing corn steep liquor had a highly significant (P< 0.01) and significant (P< 0.05) effect on the weight of the bursa of fabricius and thymus, but no significant effect (P> 0.05) on the weight of the spleen. Feeding corn steep liquor to broiler chickens had a significant effect (P<0.05) on villus height and a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on intestinal crypt depth and the villus-to-crypt ratio in broiler chickens. The conclusion of this study is that feeding a diet containing 5% corn steep liquor is optimal for the relative weight of immune organs, while a 15% dose is optimal for the histopathological condition of the broiler chickens intestines.
