Evaluasi Pemberian Spirulina platensis dan Vitamin E dalam Ransum Ayam Petelur terhadap Kualitas Fisik Telur
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh suplementasi tepung
Spirulina platensis dan vitamin E 100 IU kg-1 pakan terhadap kualitas fisik telur
ayam petelur fase awal produksi. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap
(RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, yaitu P0 (ransum basal), P1 (P0 + 0,5%
Spirulina platensis + vitamin E 100 IU kg-1 pakan), P2 (P0 + 1% Spirulina platensis
+ vitamin E 100 IU kg-1 pakan), dan P3 (P0 + 2% Spirulina platensis + vitamin E
100 IU kg-1 pakan). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA) dan
diuji lanjut dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi
Spirulina platensis dan vitamin E tidak berpengaruh terhadap kualitas eksternal
telur serta persentase putih dan kuning telur. Namun, perlakuan berpengaruh
terhadap indeks putih telur, Haugh Unit (HU) (p<0,05), serta berpengaruh terhadap
indeks kuning telur, dan skor warna kuning telur (p<0,01). Kesimpulan penelitian
ini adalah suplementasi tepung Spirulina platensis yang dikombinasikan dengan
vitamin E 100 IU kg?¹ pakan mampu mempertahankan kualitas eksternal telur serta
meningkatkan kualitas internal telur. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of Spirulina platensis powder
supplementation combined with vitamin E at 100 IU kg?¹ feed on the physical
quality of eggs from laying hens during the early laying phase. A completely
randomized design (CRD) was employed with four treatments and five replicates:
P0 (basal diet), P1 (P0 + 0.5% Spirulina platensis + vitamin E at 100 IU kg?¹ feed),
P2 (P0 + 1% Spirulina platensis + vitamin E at 100 IU kg?¹ feed), and P3 (P0 + 2%
Spirulina platensis + vitamin E at 100 IU kg?¹ feed). Data were analyzed using
analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan's multiple range test. The
results showed that supplementation with Spirulina platensis and vitamin E had no
significant effect on external egg quality or on albumen and yolk percentages.
However, the treatments significantly affected the albumen index and Haugh Unit
(HU) (p<0.05), as well as the yolk index and yolk color score (p<0.01). In
conclusion, supplementation with Spirulina platensis powder combined with
vitamin E at 100 IU kg?¹ feed was able to maintain external egg quality while
improving the internal egg quality.
