dc.description.abstractStabilitas harga pangan penting bagi ketahanan pangan dan daya beli masyarakat, tetapi perubahan iklim dapat meningkatkan volatilitas harga. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis volatilitas harga daging ayam ras, cabai rawit, dan bawang merah serta keterkaitannya dengan perubahan iklim di Jawa Barat dan DKI Jakarta menggunakan metode Coefficient of Variation (CV), ARCH/GARCH, dan GARCH-X. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai CV cabai rawit dan bawang merah lebih besar dibandingkan daging ayam ras. Hasil pemodelan ARCH/GARCH menunjukkan bahwa varians bersyarat pada seluruh komoditas dan wilayah penelitian bersifat stasioner, dengan shock terhadap volatilitas yang berangsur-angsur mereda. Pada cabai rawit di Jawa Barat, pemodelan volatilitas menggunakan EGARCH menunjukkan adanya respons asimetris terhadap shock harga. Metode GARCH-X menunjukkan bahwa curah hujan berasosiasi dengan volatilitas harga daging ayam, cabai rawit, bawang merah di Jawa Barat dan DKI Jakarta, sedangkan keterkaitan suhu berbeda menurut komoditas dan wilayah.
dc.description.abstractFood price stability is important for food security and consumer purchasing power, yet climate change can increase price volatility. This study aims to analyze the price volatility of broiler chicken, cayenne pepper, and shallots and their association with climate change in West Java and DKI Jakarta using the Coefficient of Variation (CV), ARCH/GARCH, and GARCH-X methods. The results show that the CV values of cayenne pepper and shallots are higher than that of broiler chicken. The ARCH/GARCH models indicate that the conditional variance of all commodities and regions is stationary, with shocks to volatility gradually diminishing. For cayenne pepper in West Java, the EGARCH model indicates an asymmetric response to price shocks. The GARCH-X results show that rainfall is associated with the price volatility of broiler chicken, cayenne pepper, and shallots in both West Java and DKI Jakarta, while the association between temperature and price volatility varies across commodities and regions.
