| dc.description.abstract | Meningkatnya permintaan sayuran segar berkualitas tinggi mendorong penerapan sistem hidroponik sebagai alternatif budidaya yang efisien. Namun belum tersedia standar teknis kombinasi jenis media tanam dan jumlah benih per lubang tanam yang optimal untuk kangkung dan bayam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh jenis media tanam dan jumlah benih terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi kangkung dan bayam hidroponik serta menentukan kombinasi perlakuan terbaik. Penelitian dilakukan di greenhouse PT Tunas Wijaya Agro, Dramaga, Bogor menggunakan sistem Nutrient Film Technique dengan rancangan faktorial dua faktor yaitu jenis media tanam (rockwool dan busa) dan jumlah benih (5, 7, dan 9 benih per lubang) dengan lima ulangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dua arah dan uji Tukey HSD pada taraf a = 0,05. Hasil menunjukkan kedua faktor berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi dengan pola berbeda setiap komoditas. Pada bayam, kombinasi rockwool dengan 5 benih menghasilkan bobot panen 24 g pada 35 Hari Setelah Semai (HSS) dengan biaya produksi Rp397,8 dan keuntungan Rp19.602 per kemasan 200 gram. Pada kangkung, jumlah benih merupakan faktor penentu utama produktivitas sementara jenis media tidak berpengaruh nyata, sehingga kombinasi busa dengan 9 benih direkomendasikan dengan bobot panen 40 g pada 23 HSS dengan biaya produksi Rp221,5 dan keuntungan Rp19.779 per kemasan. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The increasing demand for high-quality fresh vegetables has driven the adoption of hydroponic systems as an efficient cultivation alternative. However, no technical standard exists for the optimal combination of growing media type and seed quantity per planting hole for water spinach and spinach. This study aimed to analyze the effect of both factors on growth and production of hydroponic water spinach and spinach and to determine the best treatment combination. The study was conducted at PT Tunas Wijaya Agro, Dramaga, Bogor using Nutrient Film Technique with a two-factor factorial design comprising growing media type (rockwool and foam) and seed quantity (5, 7, and 9 seeds per hole) with five replications. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA and Tukey's HSD at a = 0.05. Results showed both factors significantly affected growth and production with different patterns per commodity. In spinach, rockwool with 5 seeds produced harvest weight of 24 g at 35 Days After Seeding (DAS) with production cost of IDR 397.8 and profit of IDR 19,602 per 200 g package. In water spinach, seed quantity was the primary determinant of productivity while growing media had no significant effect, so foam with 9 seeds is recommended with harvest weight of 40 g at 23 DAS with production cost of IDR 221.5 and profit of IDR 19,779 per package. | |
