      Evaluasi Penggunaan Pupuk Organik Granul Bermikoriza pada Pertumbuhan dan Produktivitas Biomassa Sorghum bicolor varietas Samurai 1 pada Ratun Kedua

      Abstract
      Budidaya sorgum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) sistem ratun pada tanah latosol memerlukan pengelolaan hara untuk mempertahankan pertumbuhan dan produktivitas biomassa. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi penggunaan jenis dan dosis pupuk organik granul pada pertumbuhan dan produktivitas biomassa sorgum varietas Samurai 1 pada ratun kedua. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dua faktor, yaitu jenis pupuk: pupuk organik granul (G), pupuk organik granul + mikoriza (GM), serta pupuk organik granul + lamtoro + mikoriza (GLM), dan dosis 2, 3, serta 4 ton ha?¹ dengan empat ulangan. Peubah yang diamati meliputi kolonisasi akar FMA, pertumbuhan vegetatif, indeks klorofil, kadar gula batang, dan produktivitas biomassa. Interaksi jenis dan dosis pupuk memengaruhi kolonisasi akar FMA dan diameter batang, sedangkan jenis pupuk lebih berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas biomassa. Simpulan pada penelitian ini adalah perlakuan GLM memberikan performa terbaik. Dosis 3 ton ha?¹ dan 4 ton ha?¹ tidak berbeda nyata pada sebagian besar peubah, termasuk biomassa kering, sehingga dosis 3 ton ha?¹ dipilih sebagai dosis yang lebih efisien untuk mendukung pertumbuhan dan produktivitas biomassa sorgum ratun kedua pada tanah latosol.
       
      The cultivation of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) using a ratoon system on latosol soil requires nutrient management to maintain growth and biomass productivity. This study evaluated the effects of different types and rates of granular organic fertilizer on the growth and biomass productivity of the Samurai 1 sorghum variety during the second ratoon crop. The study employed a two factor randomized block design, with fertilizer types including granular organic fertilizer (G), granular organic fertilizer + mycorrhiza (GM), and granular organic fertilizer + lamtoro + mycorrhiza (GLM), and application rates of 2, 3, and 4 tons ha?¹ with four replications. The observed variables included FMA root colonization, vegetative growth, chlorophyll index, stem sugar content, and biomass productivity. The interaction between fertilizer type and rate affected FMA root colonization and stem diameter, while fertilizer type had a greater effect on growth and biomass productivity. The conclusion of this study is that the GLM treatment yielded the best performance. The 3 tons ha?¹ and 4 tons ha?¹ rates did not differ significantly for most variables, including dry biomass, therefore, the 3 tons ha?¹ rate was selected as the more efficient rate to support the growth and biomass productivity of second ratoon sorghum on latosol soil.
