      Evaluasi Pemberian Tepung Spirulina platensis dan Vitamin E dalam Ransum terhadap Performa Produksi dan Status Kesehatan Ayam Petelur

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh tepung Spirulina platensis dan vitamin E terhadap performa produksi dan status kesehatan ayam petelur. Ayam petelur ISA Brown 180 ekor digunakan dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan selama 7 minggu, yaitu P0 (kontrol), P1 (ransum mengandung 0,5% tepung Spirulina platensis dan ditambahkan vitamin E 100 IU kg?¹), P2 (ransum mengandung 1% tepung Spirulina platensis dan ditambahkan vitamin E 100 IU kg?¹), dan P3 (ransum mengandung 2% tepung Spirulina platensis dan ditambahkan vitamin E 100 IU kg?¹). Parameter yang diamati meliputi performa produksi, hematologi darah, dan diferensiasi leukosit. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan uji Duncan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap massa telur, nyata (P<0,05) terhadap hen day production dan jumlah leukosit, tetapi tidak nyata terhadap parameter lainnya (P>0,05). Perlakuan P1 menghasilkan hen day production, income over feed cost, massa telur, dan jumlah leukosit tertinggi, dengan seluruh parameter hematologi dan diferensiasi leukosit berada kisaran normal. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ransum yang mengandung 0,5% tepung Spirulina platensis dan ditambahkan vitamin E 100 IU kg?¹ merupakan kombinasi terbaik untuk meningkatkan produksi telur dan jumlah leukosit ayam petelur.
       
      This study evaluated the effects of Spirulina platensis powder and vitamin E on the production performance and health status of laying hens. A total of 180 ISA Brown laying hens were assigned to a completely randomized design with four treatments and five replicates for seven weeks, P0 (control), P1 (diet containing 0.5% Spirulina platensis powder supplemented with 100 IU kg?¹ vitamin E), P2 (diet containing 1% Spirulina platensis powder supplemented with 100 IU kg?¹ vitamin E), and P3 (diet containing 2% Spirulina platensis powder supplemented with 100 IU kg?¹ vitamin E). Production performance, blood hematology, and leukocyte differentiation were evaluated. Data were analyzed by ANOVA and Duncan's test. The treatments had a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on egg mass and a significant effect (P<0.05) on hen-day egg production and total leukocyte count but not the other parameters (P>0.05). P1 produced the highest hen day egg production, income over feed cost, egg mass, and total leukocyte count, while hematological and leukocyte differentiation parameters remained within the normal range. In conclusion, a diet containing 0.5% Spirulina platensis powder supplemented with 100 IU kg?¹ vitamin E was the optimal combination for improving egg production and total leukocyte count in laying hens.
