      Abstract
      HAYFA AMIRA ALBARKATI. Analisis Kinerja Pertumbuhan dan Kualitas Air Benih Lele Clarias sp. pada Media Isoosmotik dengan Kepadatan Tinggi. Dibimbing oleh KUKUH NIRMALA dan YUNI PUJI HASTUTI. Peningkatan padat tebar pada budidaya benih ikan lele dapat menyebabkan penurunan pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup, dan kualitas air sehingga diperlukan media pemeliharaan yang mampu mendukung kondisi fisiologis ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh media isoosmotik pada padat tebar tinggi terhadap performa pertumbuhan, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, kualitas air, serta analisis usaha benih ikan lele (Clarias sp.). Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan empat perlakuan padat tebar yaitu 1.700 ekor m?³ (K), 1.800 ekor m?³ (P1), 1.900 ekor m?³ (P2), dan 2.000 ekor m?³ (P3) dengan tiga kali ulangan selama 21 hari pemeliharaan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi rasio konversi pakan, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, pertumbuhan panjang dan bobot, kualitas air, serta analisis usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan padat tebar tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bobot, namun berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan panjang ikan dan rasio konversi pakan. Perlakuan P1 menghasilkan performa terbaik dengan tingkat kelangsungan hidup sebesar 94,44%, nilai Harga Pokok Produksi terendah, serta keuntungan tertinggi pada skala laboratorium dan skala besar. Media isoosmotik mampu mendukung pemeliharaan benih ikan lele pada padat tebar tinggi hingga 1.800 ekor m?³ secara biologis dan ekonomis.
       
      HAYFA AMIRA ALBARKATI. Growth Performance and Water Quality Analysis of Catfish Clarias sp. Fingerlings in an Isoosmotic Medium Under High Stocking Density. Supervised by KUKUH NIRMALA and YUNI PUJI HASTUTI. Increasing stocking density in catfish seed culture may reduce growth performance, survival rate, and water quality, thereby requiring a rearing medium capable of supporting the physiological condition of the fish. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of an isoosmotic medium under high stocking densities on the growth performance, survival rate, water quality, and economic feasibility of catfish (Clarias sp.) juveniles. A completely randomized design was employed with four stocking density treatments: 1,700 fish m?³ (K), 1,800 fish m?³ (P1), 1,900 fish m?³ (P2), and 2,000 fish m?³ (P3), each with three replicates over a 21-day rearing period. The observed parameters included feed conversion ratio, survival rate, length and weight growth, water quality, and economic analysis. The results showed that increasing stocking density had no significant effect on weight growth but significantly affected fish length growth and feed conversion ratio. Treatment P1 exhibited the best performance, with a survival rate of 94.44%, the lowest production cost, and the highest profit at both laboratory and commercial scales. The isoosmotic medium was able to support the rearing of catfish juveniles at a high stocking density of up to 1,800 fish m?³, providing both biological and economic benefits.
