      Pengaruh Laju Alir Oksigen Terhadap Ukuran, Konsentrasi, dan Stabilitas Ultrafine Bubble pada Bahan Bakar B40

      Abstract
      Bahan bakar B40 berpotensi ditingkatkan karakteristiknya melalui penerapan teknologi Ultrafine Bubble (UFB). Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh variasi laju alir oksigen terhadap karakteristik dan stabilitas UFB pada bahan bakar B40 selama penyimpanan 12 hari. UFB dibangkitkan menggunakan generator ultrafine bubble dengan laju alir oksigen 1 LPM dan 3 LPM, kemudian dikarakterisasi menggunakan Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan laju alir oksigen meningkatkan konsentrasi gelembung dari 7,20 × 108 menjadi 1,79 × 109 partikel/mL, tetapi tidak memberikan perbedaan yang berarti terhadap ukuran rata-rata gelembung yang berada pada kisaran 11–12 nm. Setelah penyimpanan 12 hari, ukuran gelembung meningkat dan konsentrasinya menurun pada kedua perlakuan, namun seluruh gelembung tetap berada dalam kategori UFB. Perlakuan 1 LPM menunjukkan stabilitas yang lebih baik dengan resistensi konsentrasi sebesar 39,86%, dibandingkan 13,74% pada perlakuan 3 LPM. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa laju alir oksigen memengaruhi konsentrasi dan stabilitas UFB pada bahan bakar B40.
       
      B40 fuel has the potential to be improved through the application of Ultrafine Bubble (UFB) technology. This study aimed to analyze the effect of oxygen flow rate variation on the characteristics and stability of UFB in B40 fuel during 12 days of storage. UFBs were generated using a ultrafine bubble generator at oxygen flow rates of 1 LPM and 3 LPM and characterized using Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis. The results showed that increasing the oxygen flow rate increased bubble concentration from 7.20 × 108 to 1.79 × 109 particles/mL, while having little effect on average bubble size, which remained within 11–12 nm. After 12 days of storage, bubble size increased and concentration decreased in both treatments; however, all bubbles remained within the UFB category. The 1 LPM treatment showed higher stability with a concentration retention of 39.86%, compared with 13.74% for the 3 LPM treatment. These findings indicate that oxygen flow rate affects the concentration and stability of UFB in B40 fuel.
