| dc.description.abstract | Gulma merupakan tumbuhan pengganggu yang dapat menurunkan produktivitas tanaman budidaya sehingga diperlukan metode pengendalian yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis performansi penyemprotan herbisida menggunakan sprayer gendong elektrik tipe dua fungsi dan air blower untuk pengendalian gulma pada lahan kering. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pengujian di laboratorium (indoor testing) dan pengujian lapang (outdoor testing) menggunakan tiga metode penyemprotan, yaitu sprayer gendong elektrik, sprayer gendong semi-otomatis, dan sprayer gendong elektrik yang dilengkapi air blower, masing-masing menggunakan nosel kerucut 4 lubang dan nosel kerucut 6 lubang. Parameter yang diamati meliputi debit penyemprotan, lebar penyemprotan efektif, tinggi penyemprotan efektif, diameter droplet, kerapatan droplet, efektivitas penyemprotan, kapasitas lapang efektif, dan biaya aplikasi herbisida. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode penyemprotan paling efektif yaitu metode sprayer gendong elektrik menggunakan nosel kerucut 4 lubang yang memberikan nilai efektivitas penyemprotan tertinggi, yaitu sebesar 99%, sedangkan metode penyemprotan paling efisien yaitu terdapat pada metode penyemprotan sprayer gendong semi-otomatis dengan nosel kerucut 4 lubang yang memberikan nilai biaya aplikasi herbisida terendah, yaitu sebesar Rp471.151/ha. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Weeds are pests that can reduce the productivity of cultivated plants, so effective and efficient control methods are needed. This study aims to analyze the performance of herbicide spraying using a dual function electric handheld sprayer and air blower for weed control in dry land. The study was conducted through laboratory testing (indoor testing) and field testing (outdoor testing) using three spraying methods, namely an electric handheld sprayer, a semi-automatic handheld sprayer, and an electric handheld sprayer equipped with an air blower, each using a 4 hole cone nozzle and a 6 hole cone nozzle. The parameters observed included spray discharge, effective spray width, effective spray height, droplet diameter, droplet density, spray effectiveness, effective field capacity, battery voltage consumption, and herbicide application costs. The results showed that the most effective spraying method was the electric handheld sprayer using a 4 hole cone nozzle, which provided the highest spraying effectiveness value of 99%. The most efficient spraying method was the semi-automatic hand-held sprayer using a 4-hole cone nozzle, which provided the lowest herbicide application cost of Rp471,151/ha. | |
