This study aimed to evaluate the effect of organic iron (Fe) supplementation in the diet on the physical quality of quail eggs. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications, namely T1 (control), T2 (50 ppm), T3 (100 ppm), and T4 (150 ppm), with observations conducted at weeks 8, 10, and 12. The results showed that supplementation with 150 ppm organic iron (Fe) significantly (p< 0.05) increased the egg index, albumen index, eggshell weight, and Haugh Unit values. However, it reduced yolk weight at week 8. Supplementation with 150 ppm organic Fe also significantly (p< 0.05) increased the egg index at week 10 and enhanced eggshell weight and yolk color at week 12. The average data of measurement periods (weeks 8, 10, and 12) demonstrated that supplementation with 150 ppm organic Fe significantly improved the egg index, albumen weight, Haugh Unit, and yolk color compared with all other treatments. In conclusion, supplementation with 150 ppm organic Fe in the diet of laying quail was the most effective treatment for improving egg index, albumen weight, Haugh Unit, and yolk color.
