Pengaruh Penambahan Tepung Akar Manis Glycyrrhiza glabra pada Pakan terhadap Kinerja Pertumbuhan Ikan Patin Pangasianodon hypophthalmus

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis optimal tepung akar manis (Glycyrrhiza glabra) pada pakan yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja pertumbuhan ikan patin (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus). Penelitian menggunakan rancangan
acak lengkap dengan lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, yaitu penambahan tepung akar manis sebesar 0%, 0,5%, 1%, 2%, dan 3% pada pakan. Pemeliharaan ikan dilakukan selama 60 hari. Parameter yang diamati meliputi biomassa akhir, bobot akhir individu, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, jumlah konsumsi pakan, rasio konversi pakan, rasio efisiensi protein, dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung akar manis berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) terhadap biomassa akhir, bobot akhir individu, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, jumlah konsumsi pakan, dan rasio konversi pakan, dan rasio efisiensi protein. Perlakuan
terbaik diperoleh pada dosis 2% dengan biomassa akhir sebesar 432,07 ± 50,33 g dan laju pertumbuhan spesifik sebesar 3,74 ± 0,11% per hari. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup ikan selama penelitian berkisar antara 96,67–100%. This study aimed to determine the optimal dietary inclusion level of licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) root powder to enhance the growth performance of striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus). A completely randomized design was
employed with five dietary treatments and three replicates, consisting of diets supplemented with 0%, 0.5%, 1%, 2%, and 3% licorice root powder. Fish were reared for 60 days. The evaluated parameters included final biomass, final body weight, specific growth rate, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, protein efficiency ratio, and survival rate. Data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan’s multiple range test. The results demonstrated that dietary supplementation with licorice root powder significantly affected (p < 0.05) final biomass, final body weight, specific growth rate, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, and protein efficiency ratio. The optimal response was achieved with the diet containing 2% licorice root powder, resulting in a final biomass of 432.07 ± 50.33 g and a specific growth rate of 3.74 ± 0.11% day?¹. Fish survival remained high throughout the experimental period, ranging from 96.67% to 100%.
